Products and subscriptions

A product states what is open. A subscription is the fact of holding it. The two words are not interchangeable.

Where a subscription applies

A subscription covers either a group or an account. Holding a product for one group opens nothing for the same account's other groups: each group has the rights it was given.

The tournament cap is a deliberate exception: it is counted on the account, group tournaments included. Counting it per group could be sidestepped by creating none.

Lapsed is not revoked

A subscription that reaches its term leaves a seven-day grace period during which everything continues. After that, an organisation is frozen: it keeps its features but can no longer commit anything new. A revocation takes effect immediately — but destroys nothing either.
